The Rituals store at London Bridge Station had a requirement for the galvanised ductwork to be insulated and painted matt black to match the colour of the other services at high level and to blend better with the traditional red brickwork.  Thermal Tech Services Ltd recommended to the client that SlottedSection with a matt black finish pre-applied on 25mm phenolic.  Samples were duly sent to site and were approved.

The fitting of the insulation took only two days for a ‘fitter and mate’.  This could have been quicker if they had been able to work off a tower rather than a podium, but access was a problem.  Bends were pre-cut further reducing time on site.
